2026 Season Fees for Junior Players are as follows:
$40.00 per player
$100 per family (3 or more Junior Players)
We aim to keep registration fees for our players lower than other sports and activities. By providing a cost-effective option, we make rugby accessible to a wider range of families, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder participation. We could not do this without the amazing support of our Junior sponsors.

JUNIOR RUGBY CONTACT
Marcus Chappell
tomaratajuniorrugby@gmail.com
With our Junior players coming from across Mangawhai, Tomarata, and Wellsford areas, our teams reflect the diverse, welcoming community we’re proud to be part of.
Many of our players have deep family ties to the club, proudly continuing a tradition that spans generations. At the same time, we’re excited to see more new families coming on board, bringing fresh energy and helping the club grow.
Alongside the regular rugby season, we also look for opportunities to give our juniors extra time on the field through additional games and playing opportunities outside of the normal competition with clubs outside our sub union and things like the Global Games in Taupo.
What really sets our Junior players apart is their passion. Alongside rugby, many get involved in our popular Tomarata Tag Summer Module. This keeps them, their siblings, and parents connected to the club all year round, building strong bonds and creating a real sense of family.
We’re more than just a sports club. We’re a place where players, families, and supporters come together to belong, to grow, and to create memories that last a lifetime.
