SENIOR RUGBY
Currently looking for Social and Senior Players
Tomarata Seniors, the Red Devils, are about good rugby, good people and enjoying the game. Our players come from Tomarata and nearby areas like Mangawhai and Wellsford, and the team has always been about a mix of competitive rugby and the social side that comes with country clubs.
New players are always welcome.
Tomarata has traditionally played in the Northland Rugby Championship grade, but the Senior team is currently in hiatus. We however continue to fill the gap for those players keen for a run, especially those who enjoy social rugby without the commitment of a full season.
Current opportunities to play for Tomarata this season include:
Senior Invitational Games against neighboring clubs.
One off social games like Town vs Country and Married vs Singles
Golden Oldies matches as part of our centenary year

Registering your interest is done in Rugby Xplorer which is used by all clubs. Any player taking the field for Tomarata must be registered through Rugby Xplorer. To register please head to the Rugby Registration page

In 2026 social games happen throughout the season therefore trainings happen closer to each game. One the social game schedule is confirmed, trainings days will be confirmed. Trainings generally happen on either a Wednesday or Thursday nights.
